New Delhi, Aug 29 (IANS): It was a pleasant and cloudy Monday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, which is the season's average so far.
"The sky will be generally cloudy throughout the day. Light rains are likely to occur," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 83 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 37.0 degree Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, at the season's average.
