Bomb scare at Bengal secretariat

Kolkata, Sep 9 (IANS): Security was beefed up at the West Bengal state secretariat Nabanna on Friday following an anonymous call warning the secretariat will be blown up, police said.

The police control room at Nabanna in neighbouring Howrah district received a call from an unidentified person at around 10 a.m.

"We are looking into it. The call was received around 10 a.m.," an official said.
