India, Nepal review security matters


New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS): India and Nepal have reviewed security cooperation between the two neighbours and agreed to strengthen it further, it was announced on Friday.

"The India-Nepal Home Secretary-level talks were held on September 8-9, 2016 in New Delhi. During the talks, both sides reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral security," an official statement issued here said. 

The Nepali delegation was led by the country's Home Secretary, Lok Darshan Regmi, while the Indian side was led by Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi. 

The talks were held in a cordial atmosphere, it said, adding that the next Home Secretary-level talks will be held in Nepal at a mutual convenient date.
