Pakistan troops fire at Indian positions in Uri

Srinagar, Sep 20 (PTI) : Two days after the terror attack in Uri, Pakistani troops today violated the border ceasefire in the same sector of Kashmir, targeting Indian army positions with small firearms. However, there was no damage in the incident, army said.

"Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing by small arms towards Indian positions in Uri sector this afternoon," an army official said.

He said the firing from across the Line of Control took place between 1.10 pm and 1. 30 pm.

The official said while there were no reports of any casualty in the firing, further details of the incident were awaited.

The ceasefire violation comes two days after four Jaish- e-Mohammad militants stormed an army base in Uri Sector, killing 18 soldiers and injuring several others. All the four militants were also killed.

The terror attack has heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.

It is better both the Governments sit down to some serious talking instead of a casual chai pe charcha. The lives of our soldiers is as much important as our own lives. They too are needed by their family. Governments of the day should be responsible and prudent in their administration. Undoing the previous government policies just because there is a change in government is ridiculous. Issues concerning national security should be viewed objectively.

kashmir is still India's weak point with lots of paki backers. for the time being the way forward is to let Indians from other parts settle there and dilute their influence. China is doing it in their terrorist infested state of Urumqi. they are not bothered by what US or UN says about it.

Indian Law prohibits other then Kashmiris to own property in Kashmir. Kashmiris will chase others from Kashmiri territory. Kashmir is not recognized by the United Nations as integral part of India or Pakistan. At the time of Independent Kashmir had it's own Administration and rulers. India or Pakistan does not teach the real history of Kashmir to its students. We should not compare India to China. China has Veto power in the United Nations and economically strong. Truth shall win.

India lost a precious chance of igniting this border firing by pakistani soldiers. Our Army should have responded with heavy arms, strike deep inside paki territory, hit sensitive locations, crippling their border posts. This will prompt them to attack and this can then lead to a full scale war. This way India can teach pakistan a nice lesson, destroy its monuments, buildings, dams, airports, businesses and cripple their power grids and at the same time keeping all options open in case they try their nuclear bombs. The world wants India to attack pakistan and destroy it completely so that there is peace in the world.

India should be always be alert at the border and retaliate with higher intensity. At the same time India should work with rest of the world diplomatically to isolate Pakistan declaring it a dreaded Terrorist State, mass producer of brutal terrorists and a constant threat and destroyer of civilized world. At UN level Pakistan should be imposed with heavy economic sanctions and all its trade routes and take control of its terror organisations and eliminate them. Fighting diplomatically is a much better option than militarily in this case because Pakistan is provoking us to all out military war so that they have much better option to use whatever weapons they have to protect them saying they are vulnerable. So we should not play into their hands, we should take a different route to put an end to their misery.

Modiji looks tough (Physically) and powerful orator but so far he did not match all his capabilities against PAK. Only shaking hands and few hugs or pats on the back and we are back stabbed in return.
No one expected things under Modi to come to that low with our enemy. They were testing our courage and it took so long to react. Top to bottom or in descending order all are giving bashanas. May be worried about economic developments and achievements to ensure that next general elections results would be in BJP favour.
Testing time is over act decisively and with firm will power.
    Jo darrah oh marah.

India needs to make its mind.
    3 goals can be achieved:-
    1. Liberate Baluchistan.
    2. Get back POK and rename that land with suitable name.
    3. Kill dawood.
