CW recruitment case: Kejriwal named in FIR, lashes out at PM

New Delhi, Sep 21 (PTI): Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today alleged that ACB has registered an FIR against him at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the "administrative and financial irregularities" in the functioning of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).

The AAP chief also distributed copies of the FIR which named him along with DCW chief Swati Maliwal as "known/suspected/unknown accused".

Continuing his tirade against Modi, Kejriwal said the AAP government will soon call a Special Session of Delhi Assembly where he will expose the "conspiracy" behind the registration of the FIR.

Maliwal was on Monday booked by the Anti-Corruption Branch of the Delhi government on charges of alleged irregularities in recruitment in the women's panel.

"In the FIR registered by the ACB, my name is also there...But it does not contain any details on my alleged role. One does not put the name of the Chief Minister in the FIR just like that.

"It cannot happen without the Prime Minister's approval. It is clear that the FIR has the PM's nod. We will soon call a Special Session of the Delhi Assembly where we will expose the conspiracy behind this," the Delhi CM told reporters at his official residence.

Kejriwal's deputy Manish Sisodia alleged that it is an attempt to "destabilise" the Delhi government.

The FIR was registered on a complaint by former DCW chief Barkha Shukla Singh.

A case under sections 13(D) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 409 (criminal breach of trust) and 120B (punishment of criminal conspiracy) of the IPC was registered against Maliwal, ACB chief Mukesh Kumar Meena had said.

Our comment will not make any difference in the Indian political scene... We only have to vent out our anger or share our opinion...! Its not going to change the system...Really we are fed up the way Centre is instigating and meddling in the state functioning...For everything a C.M has to beg to the Centre. That is the mechanism running through under the garb of constitution which Mr.Kejriwal is wanted to change.... Why all the politicians hate Mr.Kejriwal and common people like this person...time for introspection...!

You mean to say all the people behind bars from AAP are innocent???

Do you think FIR can just be written like they show in the film? I order to file an FIR there should be a prima facie evidence, without which FIR cannot be lodged, if its lodged then court will come heavily on those who filed it...

Daily is a Union Territory and as per the constitution it should be run in a different way then a normal state

Mr.Kejriwal is in deed a very good Chief Minister...Unfortunately Delhi needs puppets like Sheila aunty with Kalmadi as assistant and Madan laal khurana like people. Kejriwal is a good human and a good political leader but India is such a corrupt politics, even 10 Kejriwals, they may easily goble in one gulp.....!

Dear Prime Minister you both are fighting since three years, Delhi people at least receiving free water, subsidy in electricity, Free medicine and treatment, Quality education, world class transportation as promised by Kejriwal. so we are not blaming him But we are still waiting to fulfill your promises of 15 lakhs, black money return, Rupee value 40 against dollar, Bullet train etc. If not possible these things then atleast reduction in petrol price when crude oil price is drastically went down almost 70%.

For whatever spoken inside assembly or parliament no Court can take any action...Kejiiwal call assembly special session and let whole world know who is Modi and what he is doing...this will be real fun...also talk about some ofthe recent judgements of Delhi High Court in general and CJ Rohini in particular...

Now Croak Croak Croaks will start to comment, Kejriwal is indeed a corrupt politicians like Gadkari, Munde, Vasundarai etc...
