Mangaluru, Sep 24: The first additional sessions court here has declined permission for the second time, to conduct narco analysis of main accused in Vinayak P Baliga murder case, Naresh Shenoy.
In the past, investigating officer of the case had approached second first class court here seeking permission to subject Naresh Shenoy to the above test. But the court had dismissed the application. The investigating officers had not filed appeal against this decision.
Vinayak Baliga's father, Ramachandra Baliga, had filed petition thereafter in first additional sessions court here, praying for permission to subject Naresh Shenoy to narco analysis test. The court, which heard the petition, refused to entertain the application.
Advocate for petitioner, Asha Nayak, said that appeal against this judgement would be filed in the high court soon. She also said that preparations are under way to question bail granted to Naresh Shenoy on behalf of Ramachandra Baliga in Supreme Court.
