The tractor has two different types of front wheels, that too fully worn out, cannot stop when brakes applied suddenly!!

The tractor is not even registered in Udupi, and its road worthiness maybe dubious.

Was the scooter rider wearing helmet while driving?

Was she also at fault ??

These tractors are made for fieldwork and not suitable for the busy city traffic. The drivers of tractors are not a skilled one and so that they used to drive their own way, sometimes all of a sudden they take a turn without signaling the following vehicles. There is a strict enforcement of pollution check on all the vehicles on road but no trafficwala dared to check these high polluting municipal tractors... Olden days boridha gadi's are far better than this.

Accidents are happening within moments, no time to think. This is reminding us the importance of helmet again...

It is not tractor but poor municipality killed the lady. We are 100 years back in development and still expecting and naming our cities as smart cities. With quota and case systems we are filling all vacant positions not on merit then how the development will be expected.

Agree with Peter. Locality has lost one young aspirant in this unsafe operation. We are too busy in all unproductive activities rather than talking about progress. It has to be noted that in front of Vidyodaya School in Udipi, vehicles are crossing so rapidly, without taking care of the little children crossing the road. Its high time that authorities/citizens erect speed breakers/speed limit boards in the vicinity of school, before any grave mishap takes place.

when ever such accident happens we discuss if this vehicle can be driven in city, why it's driven so fast, whether she was wearing helmet... etc etc. Or else I see so many such vehicles on the road, nobody bothered. Also so many vehicles like old aged lorries, autos, tempos driving havoc on roads, discharging so much of polluted smoke. Nobody is bothered and hence they are driven bindaas. when ever such disaster happens we discuss, debate... unfortunately.
