Riyadh Sep.26: After the historical success of Gulf Voice of Mangalore 2010, 2012 and 2014 semi-finals organized by Aangann Konknechem Riyadh, they are excited and honoured to host Gulf Voice of Mangalore – Season 5 yet again. The preliminary round was successfully held in Dammam and six male and six female voices were selected. The semi-final's will be held on Friday September 30 from 4 pm onwards in Dammam to select Voice of Arabia.
The judges are Vishwa Konkani Kala Ratn Eric Ozario from Mangaluru, Golden Voice – Rony D Cunha from Kuwait and Comperer Dony Correa from Dubai.
Babitha Rodrigues, Chinnu D’Souza, Gretta Sequeira, Jacintha Nazareth, Jerald Maxim Rodrigues, Naveen Lewis, Pramila Rodrigues, Ralph D’Souza, Sandeep Vijay Crasta, Steevan Pradeep Barboza, Valerian Nelson Moras, and Veena D’Souza are the stars of the evening.
It will be an evening full of entertainment and fun from our esteemed guests. Gear up for melodious songs by Vishwa Konkani Kala Ratn Bab Eric Ozario, Golden Voice Rony D’Cunha, 'Hero Only Yours' Dony Correa, Voice of Arabia, fame Roshan Rodrigues will mesmerize us by singing numbers from his album Aashelon. Upcoming singer Vanessa Saldanha will sing duet songs with our guests. Be there to witness some great dance performances from the youngsters topped with some rib tickling skits, Kuchulyo and many more.

Eric Ozario
One of the leading Konkani composers and singers today, he has composed more than a thousand songs, has given over 750 performances, all over the world. He is the Gurkar Mandd Sobhann and secretary general of Jagotik Konkani Songhotton. He has led mammoth successful effort to enter Konkani in the Guinness Book of World Records.
He is recipient of the ‘Karnataka Rajya Prashasti’ and ‘Vishwa Konkani Kala Ratn’.
Rony D’Cunha:
Rony is fondly known as “Konkani’s Dream Boy” is a well-known singer and music enthusiast. He hails from Derebail, is based Kuwait. Rony has sung for all major Konkani composers both Devotional and light music: Wilfy Rebimbus, Eric Ozario, Henry D’Souza, Lawrence Saldanha, Melwyn Peris, Claud D’Souza, Gratian D’Souza, late P H Pinto ; Late Mick-Max, Mike Simon, Patrao Bros. Wilson Olivera to name the few.
Rony has participated in more than 175 Musical Shows. He has sung for more than 75 albums ,been a play back singer for the movie ‘Bhogsanne. He has also produced an album ‘AmchoManddo’ a remix of old traditional songs.
He has received the best singer award by ManddSobhan in 1999. Won many awards of Appreciation by Tulu Koota, Kuwait Canara Welfare Association, KaravaliKonkans Association, Bahrain at ‘Dabazzo’ in 2006.
Dony Correa
Dony is well known for his organizing skills and has arranged many successful musical and entertainment shows in Dubai. He has successfully led the organizations like CYM, AICUF, St Mary's College Shirva, and FAMAD Pernal, Dubai..
Donald Correa, a popular name among Mangalureans in the UAE and around has created waves in the field of entertainment by exhibiting his all-round talent, be it in singing, comparing, drama, literature, Yakshagana and the latest being composing songs.
Dony has compered more than 60 plus cultural programs. He is the common name in comparing nites, cultural programs of various associations in and out of UAE. He has ably handled the GVOM semi-finals in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for GVOM Season 3 and 4 respectively and also GVOM season 5 semi-finals in Muscat recently.
Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh is a non profitable organization involved in promoting Konkani culture and language through various programs in Riyadh. They have also conducted several programs to help the youth to promote their talent since its inception in 2007. Besides, they are involved with several charitable institutions in Mangalore. They are one of the members and representatives of “Jagotik Konknni Songotton”.
Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh and Konknni Kutam Bahrain are jointly organizing Gulf Voice of Mangalore – Season 5. The Grand Finale will be on 11th November at Bahrain Cultural Centre, Manama in Bahrain.
