UAE: Hemacharya Releases Ye Mana in Dubai

Dubai, Dec 20: The much-awaited, first-ever Konkani Solo music Album by well-known Konkani singer Adolf Jayathilak “YE MANA” was released on Thursday December 19 at Winny’s Restaurant, Karama, Dubai.
“Ye Mana” was released by Stephen Mascarenhas, also known as Hemacharya, main coordinator of Daiji Writers’ forum. Abolin D’Cunha, vice-president of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Dubai, Bonifas Carlo, newly-elected main coordinator of SMKC, Dubai and well-known versatile Kannada artiste Kasargod Chinna, were the other dignitaries present on the dais.
Hemacharya, spoke on this occasion and appreciated Adolf Jayathilak for his efforts to bring out a solo music album in Konkani even though his mother tongue is not Konkani. Kasargod Chinna, also spoke on this occasion, and recollected his old memories where Adolf used to act in dramas, directed by him. He also appreciated Adolf for his love towards Konkani and also requested him to release the CD back in Mangalore as well so that everyone should feel the touch of Konkani.
Adolf Jayathilak, presented “Vollu Vollu” song from his album “Ye Mana” and thanked organizers, well-wishers and all who had gathered on the occasion. He also thanked Daijiworld for the media support. He also thanked Llyod Rego (‘Elyer Taccode”) for his beautiful lyrics and Roshan D’Souza for his music.
The programme was attended by Joseph Mathias of Merit Freights, Alva of Winny’s Restaurant and well-wishers of Adolf. Donny Correa compered the programme.
