Rahul prays at temple


Lakhimpur Kheri (UP), Sep 27 (IANS): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday resumed his 'Kisan Yatra' here after praying at the Sankata Devi temple, with a large crowd massed outside.

Accompanied by former Union Minister Jatin Prasad and former Congress MP Zafar Naqvi, his cavalcade went through Behzam, Mitali and Kasta areas of the Mohammadi assembly segment.

After a shoe was hurled at the Congress leader at Sitapur on Monday, security was strengthened for Gandhi, a police official told IANS. Uttar Pradesh will see assembly elections early next year.

    Finally Congress party has realized the mistake of appeasing minority at the cost of majority.

    Every citizen of this country should be treated equally.

    Lok Saba 2014, UP results of Congress biting the dust is, mainly due to the policy of minority appeasement. Quota under sub quote for minority SC/SC. BJP exploited it and they got resounding victory.
