Even VIPs not safe- Rs 1.14 lacs pick pocketed during CM’s aerial survey

Bidar, Sep 29: A theft of total cash amounting to Rs 1.14 lac from the pockets of four different elite people including from the personal assistant of the district in-charge minister Ishwar Khandre was reported during Chief Minister’s Aerial survey programme of rain damage on Tuesday, September 27.

Rs 50,000 from Rajkumar Ghale,the personal assistant of minister Ishwar Khandre, Rs 45,000 from leader local leader K D Ganesh, Rs 12,000 from Mahadeva Swamy, town municipal member and Rs 7,000 from Tinku Rajkumar went missing from where the arrangements were made for Chief Minister’s speech at Pandari Thanda, near Saigaon in the taluk.



The thieves who usually show their finesse during fairs, festivals and in congested places have done it this time during Chief Minister’s programme.

A police case has been registered in the rural police station.
