But other members of Ganapathi family not agreeing with Nehal told the court that they would continue the case. This point was brought to court’s notice by their lawyer Sumanth Palaksha. Hence the proceeding was postponed to October 24.
Speaking to media later, Nehal said that his education is more important to him and as such, he cannot spend time for court hearings. Advocate Prasanna Kumar also said that stance of Nehal was conveyed to the honourable court.
DySP Ganapati’s father Kushalappa said that the family is ready even to go to Supreme Court as CID did not do a proper investigation. He said there was no mention of Ganapati’s mobile, laptop, ATM Cards etc in the report which showed that there were lapses.
Machiah, bother of late DySP said that Nehal had not consulted them regarding his decision to withdraw from the case.
