Mangaluru, Oct 5: The coastal region has been experiencing thick morning mist since the last couple of days. Vehicles faced some problem on Tuesday October 4 morning as visibility was poor in the morning hours.

Mist covered various parts of the city and also Kotekar Beeri and Maravoor areas. In Puttur and Sullia, the mist was not that thick.

Poor visibility forced some flights to delay landing at the airport here. Air India Express flight from Dammam, which was to touch down at 4.30 am, went directly to Kozhikode and returned here at 12.05 pm. The Jet Air ways flight from Abu Dhabi, scheduled time of arrival of which is 6 am, came 1.20 hours behind schedule.

A few areas in the coast received light drizzle on Tuesday.

During such a misty day, someone should be in the village around the paddy fields and lush greenery all around. I remember my childhood days spending my summer holidays with my cousin in Vomzoor. used to feel chill early morning hours. Now the weather is totally changed.
