Kundapur, Oct 8: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Mangaluru division convener, Tejaswi, said that the derogatory language being used by opposition parties about the surgical strike executed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir region by the Indian army with the blessings of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and in the interests of the security of the nation, reflects their total failure.
He was addressing the students who had gathered at Sangam area in the town on the evening of Friday October 7 to register protest against the attitude of opposition parties relating to the said operation, in the form of burning of the effigy of the Congress. The programme was organized by ABVP's B B Hegde College unit here.
"Arvind Kejriwal should understand that his government has been able to breathe easy and take a comfortable nap because of the sacrifices of the soldiers. Everyone knows what had the Congress done during the 65 years of its rule in India. Congress, which sacrificed the interests of India during war with Pakistan and China through treaties, has lost its moral right to point fingers at the surgical strike," he added.
Taluk ABVP head, Gaurav, and others had taken part in the protest.
