Udupi, Oct 8: In an accident that took place at Mannapalla near Manipal, the bike rider died on the spot and pillion rider has been seriously injured.
Harshith (19), son of Divakar, owner of Coffia Hotel at Udupi city bus stand is the person deceased. Himanshu (17) is the injured. He has been admitted to the hospital.
Harshith was studying at Bantakal engineering college. The bike skidded on the evening of Saturday, October 8.
Manipal police have registered a case.
