Tel Aviv, Oct 17: Considered as first super-hit movie in Konkani film history, 'Noshibacho Khell', produced by Henry D’Silva and directed by Harry Fernandes, was successfully screened for houseful audience Tel Aviv on October 15.
Several movie lovers had to go back without tickets due to the rush to watch the movie. The organisers have decided to host two more shows in Israel due to the spectacular response received.
Producer Henry D’Silva was present during the screening of movie, which was the highlight of the event. "I am grateful to Konkan speaking people of Israel who invited me and am happy to see packed house. I am receiving this kind of love from everywhere after the huge success of movie in Mangaluru and Udupi. Mumbai has showed unprecedented response from the people. Already the movie has seen more than 15 houseful shows in Mumbai. Before that, it had three successful weeks in Mangaluru and then two weeks in Udupi. This kind of response is motivating me to go for another movie. I am surely going to do that in the near future." Henry D’Silva said.
“People from Gulf countries are eagerly waiting to watch the movie after the reviews aired in Daijiworld. Soon the movie will reach UAE, Doha, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait,” Henry added.
Henry also released Konkani music album ‘Ho Jeev’ by Jaison J Sequeira to the local audience.
Henry thanked all with special mention of Praveen Vamanjoor, Satthu Paladka and Sunil Nakre for their support in bringing the movie to Israel.
