Mangaluru: Fr Nelson Almeida's second short film 'My Teacher My School' set for release

Mangaluru, Oct 25 : Fr Nelson D'Almeida is ready with yet another short film. Last time it was My Country My Life and this time it is MY TEACHER MY SCHOOL. This film brings out a good rapport with Teachers and Students. This film invites every student to recall their student-life and remain ever grateful to their teachers for their selfless service.

The purpose of the film is to bring awareness among the students especially to respect and remain grateful to their teachers and also school which is a place of nurturing good human nature and values. It inspires each student to realize the motherly role played by the teachers. It will help them to cherish the values they learnt from the teachers as well as the environment they had for such values.














The key role in the film played by tiny tot Dolwia D’Souza, a second standard student of St Theresa School, Bendur, Mangalore and the teacher role played by Mrs Jasmine Moreira of the same school. There are 52 teachers and 350 students who played various roles in the short film.

The short film will be released on 14th November, 2016 at 9.30 a.m. at St Theresa Convent School, Bendur by Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore. Rv. Sr Mariette B.S., Secretary, Bethany Educational Society, Bendur, Mr Ivan D'Souza M.L.C, Chief whip of Karnataka Legislative Council, Very Rev Joseph Martis, Rector of St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu and Sr Premitha B.S. the Principal of St Theresa School, Bendur, will be the chief guests of the programme.
