Female junior engineer burnt in Bihar


Patna, Oct 25 (IANS): A female junior engineer was tied to a chair and burnt to death in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, police said on Tuesday.

Sarita Devi, who lived separately from her husband in a rented house, was targeted on Sunday night. The police were told about the crime on Monday.

"We have began an investigation," Muzaffarpur's Senior Superintendent of Police Vivek Kumar said. Police said kerosene oil was used to burn her.
