Pakistan High Commission staffer arrested for espionage

Oct 27 (PTI/Agencies): The Delhi police on Thursday arrested Pakistan High Commission staffer for allegedly carrying Defence documents, according to reports.

Mohammad Akhtar, staff member of the Pakistan High Commission, was arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch over espionage charges, say reports.

Ministry of External Affairs has summoned Pakistan envoy Abdul Basit over the arrest of his staff.

    Maulana Ramzan & Subhash Jangir had accessed sensitive defence related information and documents and allegedly handed them to the officials.
