Mangalore: Oscar Visits ‘Mandd Sobhann ‘Nirantari’ Discussed

Mangalore, Jan 5: Union minister Oscar Fernandes paid a visit to Kalaangann, center for development of Konkani culture and literature here on Saturday, January 5 morning.
 
In the course of his visit and talks, he discussed about the most ambitious Konkani singing marathon ‘Konkani Nirantari,’ which will be held from January 26, with non-stop singing for 40 hours. Mandd Sobhann leaders also gave details about ‘Nirantari’ and the upcoming projects of Kalaangann.

Meanwhile, Oscar Fernandes assured that he will perform his musical programme at ‘Kalaangann' in the coming days. Also on the occasion the ‘Kalakul’ school students performed a small drama.
 
Mandd Sobhann leaders Eric Ozario, Luvi Pinto, Roy Castelino, Ronald and Norin Mendonca, Felix D’Souza Mumbai, Stany Alvares and others were present on the occasion.
