Hyderabad, Nov 4 (Agencies) : In a horrific act of sexual assault, a father and his minor son have been arrested on Thursday for raping nine-year-old twin sisters with the help of their mother in exchange of money.

The accused Jaffar (40) and his 16-year-old son who are neighbors of the twins allegedly raped them over the past one year. The incident has took place in Mailardevpally.

Padmaja said that Jaffar has been taken into custody, while the minor has been sent to children’s home and will be produced before the juvenile court. She further added that they are talking to the victims, however being very young they are unable to narrate their ordeal as from how long the assault had continued

Unable to bear the assault, one of the girls studying in class 4 narrated her ordeal to her teacher who then alerted a child rights NGO, which then approached Shamshabad DCP PV Padmaja.

Padmaja said that Jaffar has been taken into custody, while the minor has been sent to children's home and will be produced before the juvenile court. She further added that they are talking to the victims, however being very young they are unable to narrate their ordeal as from how long the assault had continued.

Police have filed a case under section 376 (Rape) of IPC against the accused. A case under section 370 (trafficking of persons) of IPC and Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act has also been filed against the mother of the girls as she facilitated the abuse.

The victims originally hail from Nepal but have been settled in the city and their father works as a clerk in a private company.
