Sharjah : 38 teams to battle for 'Events 306' volleyball- throwball tourney

Sharjah, Nov 15: 'United Cup 2016', which signifies the spirit and exuberance of all the Kannadigas in Dubai, is back with a bang. 'Events 306’s annual festival, United Cup 2016, will celebrate a wide-range of events and workshops. The one-day festival, which will be held on December 2, 2016, will provide the participants with a platform to showcase their talents. Events 306’s theme this year — 'Raaste Kayi Manzil Nayi' — makes a reference to the jam-packed, noisy junctions of our city and signifies the upbeat spirit.

With events like Mixed Throwball, Women’s Throwball, Mens Throwball and Volley ball, people with variety of skills and talents will get an opportunity to come together and play as a team.

As you would expect from a fanatical sports culture embedded in all of us from Karnataka residing here in Dubai, there are some extremely talented youngsters primed to set this tournament alight.

A total of 38 teams are poised to battle it out for United Cup trophy, with all sending strong squads in pursuit of glory. It is a competition that is highly prestigious.
