Oman celebrates 46th National Day

Oman, Nov 23: Private organizations celebrated 46th Oman National Day. The organizations spared no effort to publicly congratulate His Majesty, Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the people of the nation on this special occasion. Omani staff members displayed nationalism at its best as the main reception was decorated with an array of Omani flags, colored balloons and flowers.

The 46th national anniversary is an opportunity for the citizens and residents of this country to celebrate and to salute the vision of the architect of modern Oman, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.


On November 18, the National Day of the country, every citizen and resident of the nation joined hands to celebrate 46 years of modern Renaissance and reminisce the road to development.

This occasion reminds people that unparalleled progress and prosperity have been achieved for each citizen under the able guidance of His Majesty the Sultan.

Oman’S National Day traditions, customs, activities
People celebrate both Oman’s independence from the Portuguese and the sultan’s birthday on November 18. Fireworks displays, images of Sultan and Oman’s flag can be seen during celebrations that focus on the progress the current Sultan, Qaboos bin Said has made for the people of Oman.
