Mangaluru, Nov 27: Police, with the help of public, managed to arrest three women engaged in snatching of mobile phone and purse on the night of Friday, November 25 in city.
The incident happened at Pumpwell Circle. When a woman was walking on the road, two women came suddenly and snatched her mobile phone and also the purse. The women shouted for help and the public, upon hearing her, chased the two women culprits. They managed to catch only one woman little later. Soon after they called police and handed over the woman culprit.
Police from Kadri station, who interrogated the woman, later arrested another two women engaged in the act. The court has sent all the three women to judicial custody till December 9.
