Karkala, Nov 28: After a car hit his two-wheeler on the night of Saturday November 26, a youth lost his life. The accident occurred on Saturday November 26 at Koodabettu Peradka in Mala village in the taluk.
The victim has been identified as Ravi from Kukkundur. Pillion rider of the motor bike, Arun, suffered critical injuries. He stands admitted into a private hospital here.
The motor bike was moving towards Mallaru from the direction of the town when a car coming towards the town from the direction of Mala check post hit the motor bike. Both the bike-borne youngsters fell to the road due to the impact of the accident. Ravi, whose nature of injuries was grave, was taken to a hospital at Udupi. But he died before reaching the hospital.
