Beltangady: Bike skid - pillion rider dies

Beltangady, Nov 30: After a motorbike skidded on the road, its pillion rider died while the rider suffered serious injuries. The accident occurred at Kapinadka on Tuesday, November 29.

The victim has been identified as Ashit Mohan (21), son of Madhava Pingar from Nellingeri in Perady village.

Mohan used to work for a firm hiring sound system at Aladangady. He was travelling in the two-wheeler driven by the owner of the firm, Subhash Kulal, when the said accident occurred. Ashit Mohan, who suffered severe head injuries lost his life on the spot. Subhash Kulal, nature of whose injuries were critical, was shifted to a private hospital at Mangaluru for treatment.
