Udupi: Dhanvantari College holds AIDS awareness on Malpe beach

Udupi, Dec 4: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Dhanvantari College of Nursing, Santhekatte, Udupi organised AIDS awareness programme at Malpe beach on Thursday, December 1.

The administrative officer of the college Uday Kumar talking in the programme said, “Since last three years, we have been organising the rallies to create awareness among the people of Udupi. This year we are going to make the awareness programme more effectively by playing Yakshagana with the association of Yakshagana team from Bengaluru. Our intention is to create awareness in the people and to make Udupi a AIDS free District”

The principal of the college Pratibha Braggs and the staff members of the collage were present during the occasion. Preethi and team sang prayers with praise to the Lord. Shivaprasad Prabhu the NSS co-ordinator of the college compered.
