Nitish, Lalu condole Jayalalithaa's death

Patna, Dec 6 (IANS): The Bihar government on Tuesday declared a day's state mourning in memory of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa who died on Monday night.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Lalu Prasad condoled the death of the AIADMK leader.

"May God give peace to her soul," Nitish Kumar said.

Lalu Prasad added: "Deeply saddened to hear the demise of Amma, a pro-poor, popular, bold, strong and result-oriented leader of our country. Truly you will be dearly missed."
