Mangaluru: Prof Kishore briefs students on success in competitive exams

Mangaluru, Dec 8: “In order to succeed at competitive exams, students must continuously go through the depth of the topics and put in their maximum efforts,” said professor Krishna Kishore, department of physics. He addressed II year students on how to prepare for national level competitive exams like JEE Mains and NEET at the multipurpose hall of Expert PU College, Kodialbail.

He added that students need to face the exam with a winning spirit along with proper preparation and only then can they bag success.

NEET has multiple choice questions on biology, physics and chemistry. Here time management is important. In order to clear the entrance exam, it is necessary to score a minimum of 75 in biology and 50 in physics and chemistry. Out of 720 marks, if the score is 480 to 500 marks, then one can hope for good ranks. JEE has multiple choice questions on physics, chemistry and math. Students answering JEE can hope for good ranks if they score above 200 marks. So if student prepare sincerely and regularly, they can reach their goal said professor Krishna Kishore.

The principal, professor Ramachandra Bhat and Vinay Kumar, lecturer in math were also present during the session.
