Udupi, Dec 10: Udupi district and sessions court on Friday December 9, has granted conditional bail to 15 out of 22 suspects including Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Arvind Koteshwar who were arrested in connection with the murder of Kenjaru resident Praveen Poojary.
BJP activist Praveen Poojary was brutally murdered in Kadike in Hebri Police station limits on August 17, 2016 by a group of about 25 men who waylaid his 3-wheeler when he was transporting four calves in it. The suspects were arrested the next day.

Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Arvind Koteshwar too was arrested with the allegation that he provoked the murder.
Their application for bail was heard after several months of imprisonment and 15 suspects have been granted conditional bail. The bail application of remaining 7 suspects will come up for hearing on Saturday, December 10.
