Puttur: Hit by pick-up truck, student breathes his last

Puttur, Dec 13: A first standard student of Badriya school at Atoor named Muhammed Afil (7) died after getting involved with a road accident.  The boy was hit by a pick-up truck at Kundaje in Ramakunja village near Kadaba on Sunday December 11.

Afil was walking home after attending Madrassa located in front of his home on Sunday  afternoon, when he suffered extensive injuries in the said accident. He was admitted into a private hospital at Mangaluru. On Monday, he passed away without properly responding to treatments.
