New Delhi, Dec 14: RTI activist and Anna Foundation president, Rajashekhar Mulali from Ballari, whose sensational leak of sex scandal involving excise minister, H Y Meti, accounted for the minister's scalp, said that he will soon release details of scandals in which two ministers from Karnataka, three MLAs and a MLC will soon be made public. At the same time, he confirmed that he was not the one who released the sleaze CD involving the minister, and that he does not possess the said CD, duly guessing that someone else had provided it to the media.
Speaking to media persons at Vijay Chowk here on Wednesday December 13, he said he has sufficient information about various scandals involving ministers and MLAs like misuse of power and loathsome activities. "I am putting together documents and will be releasing the details soon. You can see for yourself how women are being treated under the current government," he added.
Mulali clarified that he has never targetted any particular minister, but his final aim is to see that the government mends its ways and functions efficiently. He said in his view, only those persons who are clean in their aim, conduct and thoughts should remain in politics. Once a person occupies government accommodation, office, building etc they are not expected to misuse them. "Whenever I draw attention of the concerned to wrongdoings, I am told to bring evidence," he complained.
He expects what he will reveal in the coming days to hold the state government in a bind. He urged the government to set itself right and vibe to the aspirations of the people. "I have been closely following the functioning of the government since the last three years. I came here to bring to the notice of Congress high command about the mistakes being committed at the state level in Karnataka. But the high command did not allow me to meet the leaders. I am not worried about it. I will bring into open the scandals in the presence of the media," he explained.
He urged the state chief minister, Siddaramaiah, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress president, Parameshwar, to own moral responsibility for the happenings and resign from their respective posts.
