Dubai: Byndoor Association Celebrates 18th Anniversary

Dubai, Feb 2: The Annual general body meeting  and The Election of new committee for the year 2008 and 18th Anniversary ,of Byndoor Catholic Association was celebrated at Winny’s  Restaurant ,Karama on Feb 1, 2008.

The program began with the thanks giving mass at St Mary’s Church on Jan 24, 2008.

The cultural program was presided over by Jenifer Mascarenhas Co-ordinator-SMKC and Urban Sequeira Web Co-ordinator SMKC.







Byndoor Catholic Association formed on 03.11.1989 and the current strength of the association is 62 members. Robert Gras elected as the president and Dinesh Gras is elected the secretary for the year 2008.

Jenifer Mascarenhas in her speech praised the simplicity and humility of the Byndoor parishioners and encouraged that these virtues will always help to serve God.

Urban Sequeira in his speech appreciated various activities of the members for the upliftment of the poor and needy and advised to keep this spirit up.

Around 80 members were gathered for the celebrations. Various cultural and entertainment programs like dance, songs and a konkani comedy skits were played by the members and parishioners.

Rudolph Pereira- Hon. President, Robert Gras –President and Dinesh Gras- Secretary were present on the occasion .

The vote of thanks was proposed by Salvador Nazareth .

The entire program was compared Shaila Gras and Stephen Lobo.
