Mangaluru: Umesh Shetty's death under suspicious circumstances - three held

Mangaluru, Jan 10: Relating to the mysterious death of Umesh Shetty (29) from Kambalimane in Kilenjur near Kinnigoli, the police, on Monday January 9, took into custody three persons. Sources said that two from Niddodi and another from near Kinnigoli were taken into custody.

Umesh, who was earlier working in Mumbai, and had started living at Kilenjur since the last three years, had gone missing after he alighted from a bus at Pakshikere and travelled by a white Maruti Swift car on December 28, as per the statements of eyewitnesses. A missing case had been filed after Umesh remained untraced, and his body was recovered on Sunday, January 1. Umesh was doing transport and dry coconut business at Panambur.

Police sources said that they plan to grill a few more persons relating to Shetty's death. As per their assessment, this is a murder case of which motive is yet to be established.

    first of all very sad on his death! our law peacekeepers are still on investigation? if this case not traced, how they can trace homakunda cases?
