Kasargod: Fox which spread terror killed by people

Kasargod, Jan 23: A fox that was known to have bitten several pets including dogs and cattle including goats and cows in Chembarika colony and Kuttikkol, was killed by people.

Three persons were treated at a government primary hospital on Saturday January 21. After this, the fox bit them at Bedaga within the limits of Kuttikkol panchayat. The injured have been identified as Balakrishnan Nair, Mohan Nair and Bharatan Nair from Karivanadka village.

The fox, which had spread terror in Kuttikkol area was killed by the locals. The area, which had turned dangerous because of this aggressive fox, is peaceful now. The locals said that the government officials should see that the bitten pets are treated properly to avoid the danger of spread of diseases.
