Mangaluru: Science and Math fete at Centre for Advanced Learning on Feb 5

Mangaluru, Feb 3: Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL) and Early Learning Centre (ELC) will conduct a fete at their premises in Bejai-Kapikad on Sunday, February 5 from 10 am to 1:30 pm.

Deputy Commissioner Dr K G Jagadeesha will be addressing students and teachers.



The fete will have various groups coming together. There will be a talk by Indian Montessori Centre (IMC Bengaluru) about teachers training and early education. Science and Math counters will be set up by IIT/ NITK / CFAL Alumni, Science Utsav and Sunday Science school. Besides this, there will be stalls set up by Animal trust care, Bharath books, Zeuse fitness, Abharan Jewelers, food stalls, women’s self-help groups and various other local businesses.

CFAL has the best results in Mangaluru in all STEM examinations and has a passion to promote science, math and holistic learning in the region.

All students of kindergarten up to 12th standard and their parents are welcome to attend. Teachers interested in early education can also attend a free talk by a director of IMC from 11.30 pm- 12.30 pm. There will also be a session on career guidance. Various contests will be conducted and cash prizes of Rs 15,000 will be announced.
