Belagavi, Sep 8: St Paul’s Primary Section successfully organised ‘INVENTO – Science Exhibition 2026’ at Magis Hall, providing a vibrant platform for young learners to showcase their scientific curiosity, creativity, innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of principal Fr Eric Mathias, vice principal Fr Alendro D’Costa and primary headmistress Rita Ariokyaswamy. The chief guest, Dr Prathiba Guttigoli, office-bearer of the Women’s Cell of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists, Belagavi District, graced the occasion and encouraged the young innovators with her words of appreciation. Nikita Shetty, dean of the chemistry department, St Paul’s PU College, was also present.
The exhibition enabled students to take science beyond the confines of the classroom. The young participants presented an impressive variety of working models, experiments and innovative projects, demonstrating their understanding of scientific concepts and their ability to connect classroom learning with real-life situations.
The enthusiasm and confidence with which the students explained their projects to teachers, parents, guests and visitors were particularly noteworthy.
The exhibition encouraged the children to question, observe, experiment, think creatively and find solutions to everyday challenges. It also helped nurture teamwork, communication skills, confidence and a scientific temperament among the young learners.
Teachers played a vital role in mentoring and guiding the students throughout the preparation of their projects. Their constant encouragement and support helped the children transform their ideas into meaningful and innovative models.
The exhibition concluded with a valedictory function, graced by chief guest Hycainth Shapurkar, along with school dignitaries, teachers, students and guests.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the young innovators and their teachers and encouraged the students to continue exploring, experimenting and learning through practical experiences.
The valedictory programme also celebrated the achievements of the students and acknowledged the collective efforts of the teachers and the school community that contributed to the success of INVENTO 2026.
‘INVENTO – Science Exhibition 2026’ was a memorable and enriching experience for the students of St Paul’s Primary Section.
It created an environment where curiosity led to creativity and ideas were transformed into innovation.
The exhibition not only showcased the scientific talents of the young Paulites but also inspired them to become confident, curious and innovative learners. The event was a resounding success and provided a meaningful platform for the young innovators of St Paul’s to ‘Think, Explore, Create and Innovate'.
