Udupi: Silas International School holds 'Sports Trivia' quiz competition

Udupi, Feb 6: ‘Sports Trivia', a quiz competition was organised for students at Silas International School near Hanumanth Nagar in association with TENVIC sports on Saturday, February 4.









Addressing the students on the occasion, principal Deirdra S Maben said, "Everybody cannot get opportunity to showcase their potential and intellectual quotient. So we are glad that TENVIC provided a good platform to the students for testing their general knowledge".

The principal wished the participants good luck who had come from different schools.

Vikas Badiger, recruiting officer at Amazon India conducted the quiz competition. He said, "The quiz contest is being conducted for the first time in the School. Such competitions give a lot of experience to students".

While Little Rock Indian School bagged the gold and sliver medals, brone medals were awarded to other finalists Madhav Kripa, Christ school and Green Park school.

Ashwin Padukone, table tennis player and operational manager at TENVIC briefed about the organisation and its mission.

As many as 28 schools and 13 teams participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition.

Elizabeth Joseph, vice-president was present.

Amritha Mohan compered the programme.
