Four arrested in fake currency racket


Hyderabad, Feb 9 (IANS): Four people, including two engineering students, were arrested on Thursday for allegedly printing fake Rs 2,000 currency notes.

The police seized Rs 36 lakh in the recently introduced denomination, a colour printer and four mobile phones.

The two students, from the Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology in Himayatsagar, allegedly tried to circulate two fake notes in the college canteen.
