Udupi: Spiritual leader Amma Amritanandamayi to visit city on Feb 25; Muhurta held

Udupi, Feb 19: Minister of fishery and sports Pramod Madhwaraj conducted Capper Muhurta on Saturday February 18 as part of preparations for the visit of spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi. On her two-day visit, she will arrive Udupi on February 25 at MGM College ground at 4.30 pm.
 
To accord a grand welcome to spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi, Shri Mata Amrithanandaymayi Seva Samiti Udupi will organize ‘Amma Udupi’. Devotees from Goa, Uttar Kannada, Udupi and Shivamoga are likely to participate in the programme.

Nearly 50 thousand devotees are expected to participate in the programme. After the stage programme, rituals like Satsang Bhajan meditation will be conducted. Devotees need to obtain token in order to meet Amma separately.

Shri Mata Amrithanandaymayi Seva Samiti Udupi has arranged transport and food facilities for all devotees who will participate in the programme.


During her visit, Amma will also visit ‘Amurth Vaibhava’ near MGM grounds.  

During the press meet, Shri Mata Amrithanandaymayi Seva Samiti committee members, Udupi CMC president Meenakshi Madhwan, Kishan Hedge, Shashidhar, Naveen and Dinesh were present.
