Ex-Chief Justice of India Altamas Kabir critical


Kolkata, Feb 19 (IANS): Former Chief Justice of India Altamas Kabir is in a critical condition at a private hospital here, sources said on Sunday.

Kabir, 68, served as the 39th Chief Justice of India from September 29, 2012, till his retirement on July 19, 2013.

Hospital sources said he was admitted two days ago.

"He is critical, but stable," Apollo Gleneagles Hospital spokesperson Anjali Singh told IANS.
