CCTVs monitor Class 10 exam in Bihar

Patna, March 1 (IANS): CCTV cameras were at work on Wednesday as more than one million students across Bihar took the first of the Class 10 examination.

Anand Kishore, Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board, said the cameras were installed inside and outside the examination centres.

Assembly of five or more persons was banned outside the centres.

"The board is taking strict measures against mass cheating and the use of unfair means in examinations," Kishore said.

"We have identified more than 100 centres as sensitive," he said.

Over 17.63 lakh students on Wednesday appeared for the exam at 1,532 centres across Bihar.
