Non-subsidised LPG rates raised by Rs 86 per cylinder

New Delhi, March 1 (IANS): State-run oil marketers raised the price of non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) by a steep Rs 86 per cylinder effective from Wednesday.

"With effect from March 1, 2017, non-subsidised price of LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 86. This is in line with the rise in global LPG product prices," a Petroleum Ministry statement here said.

Non-subsidised LPG, which customers buy after exhausting their subsidised quota of 12 cylinders in a year, will now cost Rs 737.50 in Delhi for a 14.2 kg cylinder.

Oil companies also raised price of subsidised cooking gas by a marginal 13 paisa to Rs 434.93 per 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi.

The rates of aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, were also raised by Rs 214 per kilolitre to Rs 54,293.38 per kl in Delhi. Rates vary at airports as per local taxes.

Oil marketers revise rates of ATF and cooking gas on the 1st of every month based on oil price and foreign exchange rate in the preceding month.

This is what Mody said GDP growth. Increasing petrol diesel and gas prices government is getting more taxes, and more revenue without any Industrial growth government is in-cashing much more revenue by looting people by telling lies
Because of size of Indian population too high and quality of education, living standard , very poor , So people will believe lies easily.

Mr. Prem, everything is costlier globally. Can not blame everything on government and on our hard working PM. Achche din means paying more money like people paying high price in Malls for the same product which is available in small shops for lower rate. We have a government which is working hard for the development of our country. You see, within 5 years, India will overtake every developed country all over the world and milk and honey will flow in India. There will be plenty of employment. People from all over the world will stand in que to get employment in India. The govt. full of scams, ruled India for 60 years could not achieve anything. But, present hard working govt. with full of highly qualified economists will take India to top level. Have patience.

Dear Ravi, Increase of 70 rupees is equal to around SAR3.93. What difference does it makes ? For the development of the country, people should contribute whole heartedly. This price rise is for our country's development. The anti nationals who do not like to contribute, are free to leave the country.

When the congress was ruling they gave gas subsidy to all the citizens of India, rich as well as poor. Petrol prices were also cheap compared to high prices of crude oil in the International Market.

Most people have miss-utilised subsidised gas.

NOW IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET BOTH GAS AND CRUDE OIL ARE DAMM CHEAP. WHERE AS THIS COW GOVERNMENT IS NOT CARED TO HUMNAS WELFARE. ACCHHE DHIN FOR COWS NOT FOR HUMANS..

PETROL PRICES AND LPG PRICES PLUS VEGETABLES ARE GOING UP LIKE ANYTHING SKY ROCKETED.

Moreover many people have given up subsidised gas.

FDI DIDN'T ROLLED INSIDE INDIA. WHATEVER FOREIGN INVESTOR WAS EXISTED IN INDIA RAN AWAY. SIMPLY THE CHAAIWAALA HAS GONE ON TOUR IN SUIT BOOT PLUS SUB JHOOT.

When crude oil was $145, LPG was Rs 450, now when it is $55, LPG is Rs 750. This is Modi's promise of Kacche din to Acche din. Now taxes are there on all conceivable items. Please tax funerals also, so that the man's birth to death full circle is covered by taxes.
