New Delhi, Mar 6 (India Today) : It seems nobody would like to fish in troubled waters. Once again, an online auction of Vijay Mallya's flagship properties in Mumbai and Goa closed with no bidders.
After three failed attempts, Mallya's Kingfisher House in Mumbai was put under the hammer for the fourth time with reserve price of Rs 103.5 crore.
In the first auction of Kingfisher House in March 2016, the reserve price was set at Rs 150 crore but later on it was lowered to Rs 135 crore in the second auction, and subsequently to Rs 115 crore in the third attempt.

Once Mallya's headquarter, Kingfisher House is a prime property with a built-up area of over 17,000 sq feet and is located near the domestic terminal of Mumbai Airport.
VILLA IN GOA
Similarly, for Kingfisher Villa, prime residence of Mallya in Goa finds no takers. On Monday, it was the third attempt to online auction the villa with the reserve price of Rs 73 crore, which is around 10 per cent lower than the second auction held last December.
Earlier, during the second attempt, the price of the sea-facing property situated at Condolin in north Goa was set at Rs 81 crore, which was bit lower than the first attempt of Rs 85.29 crore.
On behalf of consortium of lenders, SBI Caps Trustee is auctioning the properties via an online process. Mallya owes over Rs 9000 crore to lenders and has been declared as wilful defaulter after Kingfisher Airlines was grounded in 2012.
