Four injured in MP train explosion


Bhopal, Mar 7 (IANS): At least four persons were injured in an explosion in a passenger train in Shajapur district in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, authorities said.

According to Jitendra Kumar Jayant, a senior railway official at Indore, the explosion took place near Jabri railway station. The train was enroute to Ujjain from Bhopal.

The injured were taken to a hospital in Kalapipal, the official said.

According to Jayant, the cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
