Kerala: Local BJP leader attacked in Kannur

Kannur (Ker), Mar 9 (PTI): A BJP local leader suffered injuries when he was attacked by a nine-member gang in the district, police said today.

BJP's Kannur mandal vice-president Sushil Kumar (48) suffered stab wounds in the attack at Talap yesterday and has been hospitalised, police said.

The assailants came on three motorcycles.

Police said a case has been registered but no arrests have been made.

BJP has alleged that CPI-M activists were behind the attack.

Whatever one may say the Communists have done some wonderful work for the poor in this country. They have taken up the cause of the peasants and the farmers. They have fought for the workers. Tell me one good deed done by the RSS/BJP/BD/ABVP/VHP for the country?

The venom seed sowed in Mangalore by the fanatic, divisive forces, about 30 years back, today, the next generation is our DK district are reaping.

Same thing they want to do in Kerala.

Best things for the Kannur people, not to join political parties and loose their precious young family members. This is not coward act But taking precaution. Nobody will take care of one's family.

    Your frustration oozing out Captain!
Looks who is the aggrieved party here. Perhaps you are not privy to violence & killings by CPI(M) in Kerala & West Bengal. In Kerala, this saga of killings and wounding RSS, BJP cadre go a long way - 50 years and more....In WB, you can check with Congress and TMC, perhaps Didi
