BJP set to form government in Manipur with NPP support

Imphal, Mar 12 (IANS): The BJP was on Sunday set to form the next government in Manipur with the National People's Party (NPP) extending support to it and thus enabling it reach the vaunted 31-seat-mark in the 60-member state assembly, NPP National President Conrad Sangma said.

The Bharatiya Janata Party won 21 seats in the assembly elections held earlier this month. It has already been promised support by the Naga People's Front which has four seats, the Lok Janshakti Party (one) and one Independent.

The NPP won four seats in the recent assembly elections.

Sangma said they will meet Governor Najma Heptulla to stake claim to forming the government in the state.

People are been cheated by these politicians, people voted the party whom they trust, but the trust is broken by these politicians by joining hand with the party's whom people never trusted. what is the point of voting if this is the case it is better not to vote, they do this just because they are been paid by the big party. The entire politicial party is corrupted.

In a democracy whichever party got absolute majority is given chance to form majority. Now all RSS Governor incline to Nagpur command silent revolution of 'operational kamala' is everywhere visible.
Naga people's front which fought for against Indian sovereign for separate homeland and cause bloodshed through insurgency is now part of BJP's coalition partner. Is BJP submissive to militant organisation which it has signed secret accord one and half years ago?
India’s democracy is a one of the wonders of the world. As in all democracies, the solemn act of vote casting is the one moment when everyone is equal, everyone is valued, everyone is part of the nation and everyone’s voice gets heard.
If that voice is stifled or stolen, if that safety valve is closed, if that compact between the individual and the state is ruptured, then that delicate relationship is broken and the individual owes nothing to the state. And that, as the man says, can certainly make bad things happen.

Now people started respecting democracy and mandate ! haha, How they forgot what happened in BMC election Bangalore? Who got more number of seats and who took over BMC with the help of JDS?
    People must practice and preach.

Good move by BJP, Tit for Tat. Moreover BJP got 21 seats from zero. Mandate is for BJP. Go ahead and try to form the Government.
