Sullia, Mar 13: Vishal (31), son of the late Chennappa Gowda, residing at Darkhas in Kallaje village near Subrahmanya committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence on the night of Saturday March 11.
Vishal was working as an auto rickshaw driver at Subrhamanya since the last many years. He was a member of Kukkeshree Auto Drivers Association. The fact that he had hanged himself came to light on Sunday March 12 morning.
Reasons for the youth's decision to kill himself could not be ascertained immediately. Vishal has left behind his mother, wife, two sons, brothers, and sisters.
Sullia police circle inspector, Krishnayya, visited the spot and conducted inquest. A case about the suicide was filed at Subrahmanya police station.
