3 killed in Meghalaya oil tanker blast


Shillong, Mar 14 (IANS): Three people were killed when an oil tanker exploded in Meghalaya's Ri-Bhoi district on Tuesday, police said.

"The driver of the oil tanker, bound for Manipur from Guwahati, reportedly lost control resulting in the vehicle to overturn," a police official told IANS.

The tanker exploded due to oil leakage.

The victims are yet to be identified, the official added.
