M S Dhoni rescued from fire at Delhi 5-star hotel


New Delhi, Mar 17 (Agencies): A fire broke out at Welcome Hotel in Delhi's Dwarka on Friday early morning.

Reportedly, cricketer M S Dhoni too was present at the hotel when the fire broke out.

He was reportedly rescued from the spot. A call was made to the Delhi Fire Service at around 6.30 am following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Nearly 30 fire tenders were sent to the spot.

Dhoni’s state team is currently in the Capital for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where his team reached the semi-finals. They were supposed to face Bengal, but the match has been postponed.

No casualties have been reported from the spot.
